About NeuroWeb.AI
NeuroWeb is an artificial intelligence blockchain serving a decentralized knowledge graph. It was formerly the OriginTrail Parachain and was renamed NeuroWeb following a community governance vote. It connects to Polkadot as a parachain, with Polkadot validators providing security, and carries EVM compatibility. Its design goal is to organize knowledge in a verifiable, traceable way that AI systems can cite when generating answers.
The basic unit for organizing knowledge on the network is called a Knowledge Asset. It can hold content such as knowledge graph triples, vector embeddings, or images, and its owner can create, update, or transfer it in a single transaction for direct consumption by AI systems. The network rewards contributors with NEURO through knowledge mining, encouraging structured, verifiable knowledge to be written into the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph, while TRAC circulates in the ecosystem as the token used by the graph itself.
NeuroWeb.AI delivered three key milestones in H1 2026: it launched the Knowledge Signaling mechanism, a NEURO-staking-driven, token-based knowledge curation system in which contributors stake tokens to attach signals to knowledge assets, accurate signals earn rewards and false signals get slashed; it activated the community treasury pool; and it completed the major OriginTrail DKG V8.3 release.
Over the same period, NeuroWeb ranked among the top Polkadot parachains by transaction volume, with knowledge asset creation continuing to grow.
NeuroWeb.AI will keep advancing the Knowledge Signaling mechanism and autonomous knowledge mining, evolving toward a Verifiable Internet for AI, with the OriginTrail ecosystem's Metcalfe phase targeting 100 billion Knowledge Assets.
