About NEST
Nest is a real-world asset (RWA) staking protocol built on Plume Network. Users deposit stablecoins like USDC, which are then allocated into institutional-grade assets such as US Treasuries, corporate credit, and structured finance products. In return, users receive tokenized receipts (nTokens) that represent their share of the vault and accrue yield over time. The protocol operates entirely on-chain, with no custodial intermediaries.
Its core value proposition lies in three areas. First, compliance: Plume's sequencer-level AML screening and segregated LP vaults ensure adherence to sanctions and regulatory mandates. Second, liquidity: through SkyLink integration, Nest vaults support cross-chain deposits and withdrawals across 18+ networks, preventing fragmentation and enabling fast, predictable exits. Third, accessibility: retail users gain exposure to institutional-grade RWA yields that were previously restricted to large funds.
The market pain point Nest addresses is the gap between traditional finance yields and DeFi accessibility. Legacy RWA products suffer from high minimums, slow settlement, and geographic restrictions, while DeFi yields are often volatile and uncorrelated with real economic activity. Nest bridges this by tokenizing regulated assets and making them composable within DeFi ecosystems.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Nest expanded its vault offerings and integrated with EtherFi, bringing Superstate's USCC fund onchain. This enabled over $6 billion in deposits to access a strategy combining crypto basis, staking, and government securities. The protocol also enhanced cross-chain functionality via SkyLink, allowing yield distribution across multiple blockchains. Nest, Plume's flagship RWA staking protocol, marked two long-term milestones. In January 2025, it launched the Institutional Core Vault with Elixir, allowing institutional holders of tokenized assets like BlackRock's BUIDL to enter DeFi via deUSD while preserving yields and compliance. In June 2025, Nest went live on Plume Genesis, becoming one of the first RWA protocols natively deployed on Plume, bridging real yield, composability, and onchain access.
Over the past six months (2026-03-04 to 2026-09-04), Nest has achieved several major milestones. In May 2026, Nest launched on Solana, bringing institutional-grade RWA vaults to the ecosystem, with initial offerings including WisdomTree's WTGXX and CRDT funds, targeting $100M in early capital. In July 2026, Nest integrated with Binance Wallet, enabling direct access to the nBASIS vault (Bitwise USCC + Invesco USTB) for millions of users. Additionally, Nest partnered with EtherFi to launch a dedicated vault, expanding its multi-chain presence. The protocol's TVL has grown to approximately $150M across major vaults, with APYs ranging from 4.5% to 10.66%.
Looking ahead, Nest's official roadmap focuses on: 1) Expanding into additional asset classes beyond treasuries and credit, including private credit and structured products; 2) Deepening DeFi integrations across more chains and wallets, particularly in the Solana ecosystem; 3) Launching advanced yield strategies and leveraged products built on vault tokens; 4) Developing institutional-grade analytics and reporting tools for transparency; 5) Building new financial primitives that combine RWA yields with DeFi composability.
