About MultiBit
MultiBit is a dual-sided bridge between BRC-20 inscriptions and ERC-20 tokens that moves Bitcoin-native assets onto EVM networks. Each user receives a dedicated BRC-20 deposit address; after confirmation the bridge backend signs a message that a contract on the destination chain verifies before minting the mirrored token. Redemption runs in reverse, burning the EVM-side token before releasing the Bitcoin-side asset. Deposits are swept into multisig cold wallets, withdrawals pass an approval step, and listening nodes handle reconciliation. Beyond the bridge, OAMM quotes and provides liquidity for BRC-20 pairs as an Ordinals automated market maker, and a two-way NFT bridge handles collectibles. Throughout the process the user holds a mirrored asset that stands in a one-to-one redemption relationship with the original rather than the native asset itself.
MUBI launched in November 2023 and support expanded to BNB Chain and Polygon in December 2023; coverage now spans Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Solana and more than 20 networks. Scale has contracted sharply: DefiLlama records roughly $116,000 in TVL, MUBI's market capitalisation is about $200,000, and the price sits more than 99% below its $0.3697 all-time high as of October 2026.
Fundamentals: DefiLlama data showed MultiBit Protocol's TVL at about $112,700 as of October 17, up 5.8% over 30 days and ranked 94th among bridge protocols; MUBI traded at $0.00021, up 15.2% in 7 days and 21.1% in 30 days, but its circulating market cap was only about $196,000, roughly 99.9% below its December 2023 high of $0.37.
