About Mu Digital
Mu Digital is an RWA platform that tokenizes Asian credit assets. It issues two tokens: AZND (a senior token offering relatively stable USD yields) and muBOND (a junior token taking on higher risk for higher returns). The underlying assets are managed by a Singapore-licensed fund manager, primarily investing in USD-denominated government bonds, corporate bonds, bank bonds, and private credit, with a target annualized yield of approximately 7-10%.
Its core narrative is "bringing Asian credit onchain." The Asian credit market is estimated at around $20 trillion, but traditionally it has been open only to institutional investors, making it difficult for ordinary users to participate. Mu Digital lowers investment barriers through tokenization and leverages DeFi composability to connect these assets with other protocols.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Mu Digital completed an integration with Pendle Finance, launching a loAZND pool where users can trade fixed and floating yields on Pendle. From March 9 to 23, it launched an early access campaign via Curated and Plums on Ethereum Mainnet, allowing users to deposit USDC for AZND exposure. The Pendle pool had a TVL of approximately $546,000, with a base APY of about 6.75% and a fixed PT APY of 8.19%, maturing on July 2. Additionally, its senior AZND product targets yields between 6%-10%, while junior muBOND can reach up to 15%. No major negative public events have been reported so far.
In the past six months, Mu Digital has made several key advances. In March 2026, it launched on Ethereum Mainnet in partnership with Curated and Plums, introducing AZND and muBOND products focused on Asian credit. It also completed a $1.5 million pre-seed round with investors including UOB Venture Management and CMS Holdings. In June, it integrated with Pendle Finance, launching PT-loAZND and YT-loAZND to make Asian sovereign and corporate credit yields tradable onchain, and further integrated with protocols like Morpho to enhance composability.
Future focus: transforming Asian credit yields into programmable, tradable DeFi assets and promoting tokenization of broader global credit markets. The team emphasizes that while the first wave of tokenization focused on US Treasuries, the next wave will cover global credit, with Asian credit as a core opportunity. Through platforms like Pendle, users can access fixed or variable yields, bringing real-world cash flows into DeFi.
