About MoreMarkets

MoreMarkets is a decentralized cross-chain yield platform. Its core business allows users to deposit assets on their native chain (such as XRP, ETH, or BTC) and receive 'More' tokens representing those assets, which can then be used across multiple ecosystems without directly bridging the original assets. The underlying assets remain locked in vaults on the origin chain, while cross-chain messaging (via Wormhole) enables the 'More' tokens to participate in lending, staking, or yield strategies on destination chains.

Core strengths and narrative: The platform emphasizes a 'lock-and-mint' model that reduces bridge risk—users do not need to trust third-party bridges, as assets stay anchored to home vaults. It also aggregates liquidity from fragmented chains into a unified marketplace, allowing a single deposit to access multiple yield sources. The recent acquisition of Mizu Labs (a cross-chain liquidity infrastructure builder) and integrations with Flare Network and Arkis have expanded its reach to non-EVM ecosystems and improved its modular strategy vaults.

Market pain points addressed: Traditional cross-chain DeFi requires users to bridge assets, exposing them to bridge hacks, high fees, and complex operations. Liquidity is fragmented across chains, limiting yield opportunities. MoreMarkets solves this by abstracting away bridging and letting users earn across chains from one deposit, while maintaining self-custody of underlying assets.

Developments in the past six months (March to September 2026): According to official sources, the platform completed the acquisition of Mizu Labs, integrating its modular liquidity network to support EVM and non-EVM chains. It also launched new vault strategies via partnerships with MEV Capital and Midas, and added support for Flare Network and Arkis protocols. No major negative events were disclosed in official channels, though general DeFi risks such as smart contract vulnerabilities and market volatility remain inherent to the sector.

MoreMarkets, formerly Nuffle Labs, was launched as an independent entity from the NEAR Foundation. In July 2024, Nuffle Labs released a technical roadmap, planning to launch the NFFL mainnet in early Q3, develop cross-chain NFFL applications, and reduce NEAR validator hardware requirements via stateless validation. On August 31, 2026, MoreMarkets suffered a security breach where attackers exploited vulnerabilities in Ankr's liquid staking token and E-Mode mechanism, draining approximately 15.5 million WFLOW tokens (worth about $9.3 million) from its mFlowWFLOW reserves. The incident highlighted risks in DeFi lending protocols.

Over the past six months, MoreMarkets acquired Mizu Labs to unify cross-chain liquidity and yield vaults across EVM and non-EVM ecosystems, enabling institutional-grade yield access from a single platform. The integration aims to streamline access to DeFi and real-world yield strategies, accelerate innovation through partnerships like MEV Capital and Midas, and expand the yield universe via its launchpad. However, on August 31, 2026, the protocol suffered a security exploit on Flow EVM, losing approximately $410,000 in WFLOW tokens (initially overestimated at $9.3M). The attacker combined ankrFLOW with Aave V3's E-Mode to exceed collateral limits. MoreMarkets confirmed an investigation but had not disclosed final loss coverage or user impact as of early September. The platform also announced sunsetting its Earn Accounts, directing users to withdraw by March 8, 2026, while Mizu products remain available. Future focus includes unified borderless finance, transparent self-custodial yield strategies, and rebuilding trust after the incident.
