About Monerium

Monerium is an EU-regulated electronic money institution whose core business is issuing the euro stablecoin EURe. Users deposit euros via SEPA, which automatically mints equivalent EURe tokens; conversely, EURe is burned and sent out as traditional euros via SEPA. Its platform offers APIs with three integration modes—white-label, OAuth, and private—enabling businesses to build payment and financial automation applications.

Its core competitiveness lies in its regulated status. EURe is overcollateralized at 102% in high-quality liquid assets and redeemable at par at any time. Unlike many stablecoins, Monerium holds an electronic money institution license, and customer funds are kept in segregated accounts that cannot be lent out, providing legal protection and transparency.

Market pain points include opaque reserves and regulatory uncertainty in traditional stablecoins, as well as the disconnect between traditional banking and blockchain. Monerium addresses these by offering a regulated euro stablecoin that combines compliant fiat channels with blockchain efficiency.

Regarding development in the past six months (March to September 2026), no reliable specific information is available, so I cannot confirm concrete progress during this period.
