About Mintable
Mintable is a Singapore-based NFT platform launched in December 2018 that supports Ethereum, Immutable X and Zilliqa. It standardised gasless minting: the creator signs a listing, the token is only written on-chain at sale, the platform takes 2.5% of the sale, and ERC-2981 royalties are embedded so secondary splits are readable by marketplaces. Batch minting, customised storefronts and printable series served small creators and brands without engineering resources.
It occupies the light end of the market for first-time creators, distinct from aggregators that chase liquidity and terminals built for professional traders, competing on minting friction rather than trading depth. Its official documentation stated in 2026 that the Mintable and Mintology NFT products are being wound down as the company moves elsewhere, with users directed to migrate wallets and metadata.
Within the past six months, Mintable officially announced it will sunset the NFT operations of Mintable.com and Mintology.app, but the company is not shutting down; it will pivot to a new area . The team said NFT usage has declined every year since 2022, and large enterprises increasingly avoid NFTs due to stigma, making the business unsustainable .
Official future priorities and roadmap include: continuing to host NFT metadata until the company closes (and if that happens, migrating to decentralized permanent storage); allowing users to migrate custodial wallets off-platform; working with existing enterprise clients on alternative solutions; and exploring new directions unrelated to NFTs . A 2026 review still positions Mintable as a low-friction mint/claim tool for creators and brands, but notes thin secondary liquidity .
