About MetaLeX
MetaLeX is a DAO governance solution that focuses on integrating law with blockchain. Its core business is to provide tools that enable decentralized organizations (DAOs) to have a legal entity identity and automate compliance processes. For example, its cyberCORP module allows DAOs to register as on-chain companies, while cyberRAISE helps issue tokenized securities. These tools encode legal terms into smart contracts, making governance, voting, dividends, and other operations automatically compliant.
The market pain point is that traditional DAOs lack legal status, members may face unlimited liability, and it is difficult to interact with the traditional financial system. MetaLeX solves this by giving DAOs legal recognition on-chain while reducing compliance costs through automation. Its core competitiveness is "law as code," integrating legal structures natively into the blockchain rather than attaching them afterwards.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), MetaLeX launched Mainframe in May, a self-service platform that allows issuers to directly create and manage tokenized securities without intermediaries. In 2024, MetaLeX designed and launched the Lido Alliance Foundation BORG for Lido DAO, using a memberless Cayman foundation as the legal wrapper and binding DAO oversight, EasyTrack modules, and onchain multisig operations through bylaws. This became the first major BORG deployment, demonstrating the feasibility of hybrid legal-code entities.
In 2025, MetaLeX proposed converting Yearn's Ychad multisig into a BORG. The "Ychad Constitution" formalizes Yearn DAO approval rights over signer changes, Ychad's veto power, and mandatory onchain SAFE operations, furthering legal and code-based accountability for critical execution teams.
These milestones progressively validate BORG as a governance infrastructure from single case to scalable model, helping DAOs gain legal personality and limited liability, and laying groundwork for cryptonative autonomous law.
Key progress in the past six months: MetaLeX launched the Mainframe tokenization hub, enabling companies to issue and administer tokenized securities independently—no brokers, transfer agents, or depositaries required. It also launched ACE (Asset Conversion to Equity), allowing token community members to convert a portion of their holdings into real venture equity, with pilot projects already underway.
Future focus and roadmap: The securities tokenization protocol will expand into onchain shareholder voting, board governance, and automated corporate actions. Planned modules include DAO-style shareholder voting, board resolution tracking, CorpFi capabilities (tokenized debt, DeFi integration), and support for AI agents owning shares or forming sub-entities. The goal is to blur the line between traditional corporations and DAOs, making corporate ownership and governance programmable and trustless.
