About Meridian
Meridian is a DeFi incubation layer and multi-chain infrastructure that helps projects go from idea to launch, providing the tools, resources and network they need and shortening the time to ship while lowering the technical and operational barrier for early projects. Its platform deploys products across several chains such as Taraxa, Telos and Avalanche, each tailored for performance and user experience.
The project's launched or planned products include Meridian Mint, a USD-pegged decentralized stablecoin called USDM, Meridian Lend, a lending protocol, and TaraPerps, a perpetuals trading platform, covering basic financial scenarios such as stablecoins, lending and derivatives, plus TelosPump, a meme-token launchpad on Telos, and Lendit, a lending market for restaked AVAX. It uses MST as its platform token, connecting incubation, applications and the cross-chain ecosystem so users across different chains can share the same set of products.
Meridian's TaraPerps perpetuals charge an open fee of 0.1% and a close fee of 0.1% of position size.
Meridian's TaraPerps charges a 0.2% to 0.8% swap fee when collateral must be converted on opening or closing, the tier depending on whether the swap improves or worsens MLP target asset ratios.
