Mash

Mash is a creator-monetization product line run by the Canadian company 12845393 Canada Inc., operating since 2021, whose early form was a micropayment toolkit built on the Bitcoin Lightning Network for publishers, site owners and content creators. It targeted the friction of subscriptions and advertising: readers resist prepaying for a whole subscription, and creators struggle to earn sustainable income from small tips. Mash delivered Boost one-click tipping, Page Revealer paywalls, Lightning-address donations and usage-based pricing through a WordPress plugin and web app, with a wallet that could be loaded by credit card or Bitcoin so no separate wallet install was needed to pay.

In the Lightning ecosystem, Mash was one of the few commercial products aimed at Web2 creators, and it partnered with the Bitcoin media outlet TFTC on a tipping and engagement toolkit. The crypto monetization line was retired in May 2024, and the company moved in other software directions, becoming a personal relationship manager product by mid-2026.
