About Mad Realities
Mad Realities is an interactive television studio founded in New York in 2021 that turns reality shows into holdable on-chain assets. On its dating show Proof of Love, holders of the Genesis membership pass vote on contestants and plot turns, and each episode mints a 1/1 NFT auctioned on Zora whose buyer can place a contestant in the next episode and sponsor it. Auction proceeds are split by contract: 30% to the season jackpot, 10% to the next episode, 40% to the community treasury, with production funded by NFT sales rather than advertising or platform advances.
It pulls viewers from the audience side into production, replacing producer decisions with membership passes, an attempt to fuse fan economics with on-chain assets; unlike streaming revenue splits, income arrives upfront and its allocation is written into the contract. The slate later shifted to lighter formats such as Shop Cats with shorter production cycles and distribution through short-video platforms.
In June 2026, Mad Realities entered FOX Creator Studios' announced slate with formats including The Love Tank and Picky Eaters. On July 14, Picky Eaters, co-produced with FOX Creator Studios, premiered on TikTok and Instagram; by September 2026 its programming network had surpassed 1.3 billion cumulative organic views, and its show Shop Cats won a Gold Telly for vertical video series that year.
Future strategy and roadmap: Mad Realities plans to extend its short-form shows into television, books and consumer products, leveraging the FOX partnership to turn social-native IP into long-running entertainment brands.
