About MOVA
MOVA is a modular layer-one network aimed at governments, central banks and licensed institutions, positioning itself as a sovereign-grade blockchain operating system built around real-world asset tokenisation, stablecoins and payment finance. It targets the difficulty public chains have meeting regulatory and settlement requirements, along with slow, costly cross-border payments and incomplete audit trails. The design uses parallel DAG consensus, claims over 110,000 TPS with sub-1.5-second finality, runs an EVM-compatible environment with Verkle state proofs, and builds identity checks, anti-money-laundering monitoring, allowlists and audit logs into the protocol, with one-click issuance of stablecoins and tokenised assets.
Writing compliance into the protocol means node operators carry more admission duties than on a general-purpose chain, and it determines which assets the network can host. In April 2026 its research arm became one of WLFI's first supernode operators around USD1, in July it adopted Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol, and in September that integration was confirmed live across more than 50 networks. Around the same time, MovaLab was selected as one of WLFI's first batch of super-node operators, strengthening its role in compliant stablecoin infrastructure.
MOVA's mainnet continues to run stably, with an application layer built for payments and DeFi around high throughput and low fees.
