Details

Lygos Finance is a non-custodial lending platform built on Bitcoin L1, utilizing Discreet Log Contracts (DLC) technology. It allows borrowers to collateralize native BTC to obtain USDC or USDT loans while maintaining full control over their collateral. The mechanism works by having borrowers and lenders pre-sign all possible loan outcomes (repayment, liquidation, etc.), with an independent oracle providing price data to trigger execution. This ensures that no party can unilaterally misappropriate funds, eliminating custody risk and cross-chain bridge risk.
