Details

Lumina is a parametric DeFi insurance protocol designed for AI agents, deployed on Base. It offers "flash shield" products covering BTC and ETH price drops over 1h, 24h, and 48h windows. Users can purchase policies via REST API without holding a wallet or paying gas, as relayers execute transactions on their behalf. Payouts are triggered by Chainlink oracles and issued as ERC-1155 bonds, tradable on secondary markets. The protocol uses an adapter pattern for upgradeability and includes mechanisms such as a bond vault and buyback engine.
