About abacus
abacus is a ve(3,3) yield aggregator deployed across Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Mantle, and Polygon, pooling user liquidity into protocol vaults that a strategy layer routes into yield venues on each chain, with returns flowing back as LQDR. Rather than designing strategies for end users directly, the protocol wraps lending, liquidity mining, and staking venues on each chain into vault options, so users pick a chain and risk tier to deposit; the strategy layer periodically compounds or settles returns as LQDR, and holders share protocol income by lock weight.
Under the ve(3,3) model, longer lock-ups carry greater voting weight and yield boosts, biasing incentives toward durable liquidity instead of short-term farming, while votes also steer incentive allocation across vaults. The protocol entered a redemption wind-down between January and March 2026, with the final redemption window closing on March 31, after which new deposits stopped being accepted.
abacus takes 10% of all wrapper fees and bribes into the veTOKEN treasury.
abacus streams 8.5% of all wrapper fees and bribes to LQDR lockers as qLQDR, while its LiveTHE autocompounder charges a separate 3%.
