About Lemon Cash
In the past six months, Lemon Cash has made significant regulatory and product progress. In July 2026, it received authorization from Peru's SBS to organize its own Electronic Money Issuer (EEDE), building local financial infrastructure to reduce third-party dependence and accelerate new product launches. In Argentina, it launched the first Bitcoin-backed Visa credit card, allowing users to use BTC as collateral for peso spending without selling their Bitcoin. It also became the first Argentine company to settle international payments directly via Visa using stablecoins, eliminating the 30% national tax. In Colombia, it launched the Visa Lemon Card with peso payments and digital dollar cashback, surpassing 60,000 users, and is advancing integration with the Bre-B instant payment system. Future priorities include launching global stock investing in Peru, expanding across Latin America, and deepening stablecoin payments and crypto credit card products.
