About ICHI
ICHI offers single-sided liquidity vaults: a user deposits one token, the protocol deploys it as market making liquidity inside concentrated ranges, and the return comes from trading fees. Unlike two-sided pools that require a pair deposited in proportion, nothing is swapped on deposit, so there is no entry slippage, and the vault positions ranges in the direction of the deposited asset to avoid selling it just to provide liquidity, with withdrawals returning the original token plus accrued fees.
Rebalancing runs on-chain and the contracts expose no privileged rebalance function, so administrators cannot move a position; range adjustments and fee accrual happen inside the execution path. Projects can use the same vaults to build bid-side depth for their own token, turning treasury inventory into working liquidity and lowering the cost of extractable liquidity. The contracts have been audited by firms including Quantstamp, CertiK and Pashov, and the protocol is a member of the Chainlink Build programme.
On February 9, 2026, the Delaware Court of Chancery ruled in the case brought by HASH Asset Management against DMA Labs, ICHI Foundation and their founders. The plaintiff said it paid $16 million for oneTokens and lost nearly all of it when Rari Pool 136 collapsed within days; the court found the fiduciary duty and veil-piercing theories insufficiently pleaded, dismissing the suit while allowing transfer to the Superior Court.
The ICHI protocol itself keeps running. Its site in October 2026 showed $17.34 million in total value locked across 45 AMMs, 26 networks and 764 vaults, charging a 10% performance fee, and in 2026 it integrated with Hemi to support single-token deposits with automated rebalancing of concentrated liquidity positions.
ICHI will extend single-sided liquidity vaults to more chains and RWA use cases, win token issuers and DAO treasuries with automated rebalancing and yield aggregation, and fund the protocol through performance fees.
ICHI typically sets the oneToken redemption fee at 0.5% initially and then lowers it toward 0% through oneToken governance, while the minting fee is set at 0% for most oneTokens; both fees remain in the collateral reserve as risk-management tools against manipulation.
