Details

KuCoin Community Chain (KCC) is an EVM-compatible public chain initiated by core members of the KuCoin and KCS community, built on Ethereum source code to address Ethereum's low performance and high fees. It offers 3-second block time and fast finality, with transactions typically confirmed within 6 seconds; gas fees are paid in KCS at low cost. Developers can use common Ethereum tooling to deploy and run dApps directly. KCC adopts EIP-1559 to dynamically adjust base fees and burn a portion of KCS, creating a deflationary model; it also plans a parallel execution engine and dedicated storage architecture to improve throughput and reduce storage costs, supporting DeFi, gaming, Web3, and other use cases.
