About Kresus

Kresus is a Web3 super app that combines a multi-chain crypto wallet with AI-powered trading tools and yield optimization. Its core value proposition lies in simplifying complex blockchain interactions through a natural language AI assistant, which can analyze market trends, suggest trades, and execute transactions with one-click approval. The platform addresses key pain points such as fragmented asset management across chains, steep learning curves for beginners, and security concerns, offering features like optional regulated insurance and social recovery. In the past six months, Kresus has focused on expanding its ecosystem, notably partnering with Canton Network to bring institutional-grade infrastructure to retail users, and enhancing its mobile app with new features like inheritance planning and advanced analytics. The platform continues to prioritize user experience by reducing friction through gasless transactions on Base chain and providing transparent, user-controlled AI actions.

Kresus, a Web3 super app, has achieved several milestones with long-term significance. In May 2023, it completed a $25 million Series A funding round led by Liberty City Ventures, with participation from JetBlue Ventures, Craft Ventures, Franklin Templeton, Marc Benioff, and the Winklevoss twins, marking a major endorsement of its vision to simplify crypto and NFT access for mainstream users.

Subsequently, Hanwha Investment & Securities invested $13 million in Kresus Labs, strengthening its enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization capabilities, a strategic move that bridges traditional finance with on-chain solutions.

Another notable development was the launch of a crypto asset inheritance service, enabling self-custodied wallet users to securely pass on digital assets, addressing a critical gap in long-term asset management and estate planning within the Web3 ecosystem.

Key progress since March 2026:

Kresus announced a strategic partnership with Canton Network (May 4) to accelerate enterprise blockchain adoption. Kresus will bring its enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure, tokenization systems, and KITE middleware into the Canton ecosystem, supporting production deployments across payments, tokenized assets, and digital asset management.

Kresus is also working with Hanwha Investment & Securities to develop a tokenized digital asset platform focused on private market assets, enabling issuance, management, and distribution of real-world asset (RWA) tokenized instruments.

Official roadmap: Current phase supports CC (Canton Coin) holding and trading via Kresus accounts. Next quarter adds full CIP-56 asset support (USDCx, cBTC, more regulated stablecoins). H2 2026 enables tokenized deposit visibility with partner banks (AMINA confirmed). By 2027, DvP-aware transaction guidance for retail-tier participation in atomic settlements.
