About Konnex
Konnex is a permissionless marketplace connecting robots, AI models, and verifiers. Its core business lets robot owners broadcast tasks, AI miners compete to provide control policies, and independent validators confirm execution through Proof-of-Physical-Work (PoPW). Settlement uses stablecoins by default, while KNX covers network fees and governance.
The main pain point it addresses: most consumer robots have capable hardware but lack autonomous intelligence and inter-robot coordination. AI research teams build solutions but have no monetization channel, and robots cannot collaborate or contract with each other. Konnex creates a shared economic layer where machines can sign smart contracts, license AI policies on demand, and prove physical work with auditable evidence.
In the past six months (2026-03-13 to 2026-09-13), the testnet went live on April 24. As of the latest data, it has processed over 1 million transactions, 500,000 user-signed transactions, and 85,000 registered wallets. A Konnex Points program with quests, badges, and leaderboards is active. A known issue: the testnet faucet is temporarily unavailable, preventing new users from claiming test tokens. No major negative events were found beyond this. No unrelated projects share the same name.
In January 2026, Konnex closed a $15M strategic round backed by Cogitent Ventures, Liquid Capital, Leland Ventures and others, earmarked for platform expansion, hardware partner integration and verification protocol development. Earlier, its whitepaper established a stablecoin-settled, KNX-governed architecture, introducing PoPW (Proof of Physical Work) verification and dual-staking (KNX + stablecoin) to bring physical robotic labor onto auditable on-chain settlement. The ReadyMonitor platform delivered cloud-based mission control and compliance abstraction for BVLOS drone fleets, laying enterprise-grade infrastructure for robotics-as-a-service. These nodes trace a coherent arc from protocol design to capital injection to enterprise deployment, targeting the $25T physical work economy's transition to open, verifiable markets.
