About KlimaDAO
KlimaDAO is a DeFi protocol deployed on Polygon that aims to put carbon markets on-chain. Traditional voluntary carbon markets suffer from slow processes, opacity, fragmentation, and high trust costs. By tokenizing carbon credits into "digital carbon," KlimaDAO makes every trade and retirement traceable and verifiable, improving liquidity and reducing intermediaries. Its native token $KLIMA is backed by digital carbon in the treasury and can be used for staking, liquidity provisioning, and redeeming/retiring carbon credits.
