About Kalder
Kalder is white-label loyalty and rewards infrastructure that helps brands turn a membership programme into a revenue channel. Its technical core is card linking: users connect the bank card they already spend with, transaction data is verified through a third-party compliant channel, and the brand can issue cashback or benefits against real purchases without coupon codes or redirect links.
Beyond cashback, the platform turns brand partnerships into a programmable network: merchants can bring in curated partner offers, open benefits they do not provide themselves to their members, and take a share of each transaction. It also ships more than eighty gamified components, including badges, leaderboards, mystery boxes and community threads, to keep daily engagement up. The whole stack connects through APIs or no-code tools, and brands keep their own domain and front-end styling. Kalder has been acquired by Luumis, with its team and product folded into the latter.
In January 2026 wire and securities fraud charges against Kalder founder Gökçe Güven became public; prosecutors alleged she overstated revenue and fabricated brand deals to raise about $7 million, while actual revenue since 2023 was roughly $60,000. On July 27, 2026 Güven pleaded guilty, and the same day the company was acquired by Luumis, a deal recorded as completed by PitchBook and Seedtable. In August the team was cut by about 30% as integration began. Future strategy and roadmap: after the acquisition the business is being folded into Luumis' customer intelligence, rewards and subscription infrastructure, with near-term priorities of team integration, retaining brand clients and compliance remediation; no standalone product roadmap has been published.
