About Indexedex
IndexedEx is an on-chain index protocol that wraps a basket of assets into a single token it calls a decentralised ETF, or DETF. Anyone can build their own index: pick the constituent assets, mint once to receive a DETF token representing the whole basket, then simply hold or bond it. The flow is compressed into three steps - mint buys the entire basket in one transaction with stablecoins or similar instead of opening positions one by one, hold lets the market manage the basket for you, and bond locks capital to switch on a new index, the first bond being what turns a new DETF on.
Live baskets include the protocol's own $DTF-DETF, whose reserve is assembled from several pools spanning stablecoin lending positions, ETH liquidity positions and trading-pair positions. DETF baskets can be drawn from markets, tokenised stocks and portfolios generated by other applications; protocol fees accrue to the $DTF token, with app fees used for buybacks. Everything is non-custodial, and the project states plainly that its content is not financial advice.
Positive: Listed on LBank on Aug 26, improving liquidity; staking launched on Sep 7 with migration to official Protocol DETF, letting governance token accrue fees; fixed 1B supply with no presale; CoinGecko shows 24h volume of $10.83M and price up over 10x from all-time low.
Negative: After hitting ATH on Sep 7, price fell ~57% within 4 days, showing high volatility; CoinMarketCap lacks circulating supply/market cap data, limiting transparency; 7-day gain of 0% underperformed the broader market's 11.5%.
Indexedex's DETF protocol runs on Robinhood Chain, which launched its mainnet on July 1, 2026, letting users bundle tokenised US stocks, stablecoins, Uniswap V4 liquidity positions and Morpho lending positions into a single token that can be minted, bonded or traded; the protocol's own basket, $DTF-DETF, is live and shares app fees.
On August 26, 2026 the DTF token was listed on LBank. Reporting that month noted that only the frontend was available while contracts were still under audit, and the site labels its figures as illustrative rather than promised returns. The design borrows OlympusDAO's protocol-owned liquidity, routes revenue into DTF buybacks, and relies on Uniswap V4 pools for price discovery.
Indexedex's Future strategy and roadmap: open permissionless DETF creation and mint/burn supply policies once audits are complete, add templates for equities, yield vaults and mixed baskets, and keep directing protocol revenue to DTF buybacks.
