Details

Impervious is a decentralized Web3 browser built on the Bitcoin Lightning Network, leveraging DIDs (Decentralized Identifiers) and the DIDComm protocol to give users self-sovereign control over identity and data. It enables end-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer messaging, file transfer, video calls, and real-time collaborative documents, with all communication routed through the Lightning Network without centralized servers. It uses the Lightning Network as an application-layer transport protocol combined with DIDComm for secure, censorship-resistant communication.
