About Hertzflow

Hertzflow is a permissionless leveraged trading protocol built on BNB Chain, designed to let anyone create and trade perpetual contracts for any asset with oracle support. Its core business revolves around a peer-to-pool model where traders open long or short positions against a shared liquidity pool, while liquidity providers (LPs) earn yields from real trading fees, borrowing interest, and strategy returns rather than temporary subsidies. The protocol also offers vaults, isolated pools, curator-managed strategy pools, and aggregated markets, with an SDK that enables third-party teams to build custom strategies on top.

The main pain point Hertzflow addresses is the high cost and complexity of traditional perpetual market making. In conventional setups, market makers must deploy significant capital across multiple venues to provide liquidity, which limits the number of tradable assets and concentrates power among professional firms. Hertzflow removes these barriers by aggregating oracle prices and allowing any user to become an LP with a single deposit, effectively democratizing market creation and reducing the capital required to bootstrap a new trading pair.

In the past six months, Hertzflow has made notable progress. In August 2026, its USD1 Genesis Vault reached its $4.44 million target within three days, signaling strong demand for RWA-backed stablecoin liquidity on BNB Chain. The mainnet went live on August 24, 2026, with initial markets including BTC and other major assets. The protocol also allocated 390,000 WLFI tokens as liquidity rewards for the USD1 Vault, running until August 31, 2026, with no cap and open to all users. These milestones indicate a shift from testing to live operations, though the long-term sustainability of its real-yield model remains to be seen under varying market conditions.

It is important to note that LP positions carry inherent risks, including impermanent loss and volatility in returns, as yields are tied to actual trading activity rather than guaranteed. No significant negative incidents have been reported in the past two years, but the protocol operates in a highly competitive and evolving DeFi landscape.

HertzFlow, incubated by YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs), is positioned as an "Uniswap for Perps" on BNB Chain, using oracle-driven price feeds and peer-to-pool LP mechanisms to let anyone create perpetual markets for any asset.

On August 17, 2026, HertzFlow launched the Genesis Vault mainnet pre-deposit campaign with United Stables (U) and USD1, offering 10x Merit point incentives for early liquidity providers.

On August 24, 2026, mainnet trading officially went live, initially supporting BTC, ETH, and BNB pairs. Early Genesis participants received 230,000 WLFI, and an additional 390,000 WLFI was added as liquidity rewards to the USD1 Vault, running until August 31.

Long-term significance: HertzFlow lowers the barrier to perpetual market creation and market-making, while composable DeFi strategies aim to activate on-chain liquidity on BNB Chain, advancing decentralized derivatives infrastructure.

In the past six months, HertzFlow completed its key transition from testnet to mainnet. In May, the co-founder outlined the roadmap: mainnet was originally slated for late May to June, with a commitment to publish the token allocation framework in advance. On Aug 24, it announced its angel investor roster, including founders from Raydium, Virtuals, Cetus, Mask Network, etc. On the same day, mainnet trading officially launched, supporting BTC/ETH/BNB; the Genesis Vault pre-deposit ended, with early participants receiving 230,000 WLFI, and an additional 390,000 WLFI was allocated as liquidity incentives for the USD1 Vault, running until Aug 31 with no cap.

Official future focus: build a "Uniswap for derivatives" enabling permissionless creation of perpetual markets for any asset; adopt oracle-driven pricing plus peer-to-pool LP to cut market-making costs; prioritize BNB native asset contracts to keep liquidity on BNB Chain; and publish the tokenomics framework early, emphasizing anti-farming mechanisms.
