Founded in 2025 by former BlackRock digital asset leaders Kevin Tang and Wyatt Raich, who helped launch the record-breaking IBIT and ETHA ETFs, HelloTrade aims to democratize access to U.S. assets.
On November 20, 2025, the company closed a $4.6 million seed round led by Dragonfly Capital with participation from Mirana Ventures, marking its first institutional funding.
The platform is built on MegaETH, offering a mobile-first, wallet-free, gas-free experience for leveraged perpetual futures on stocks, ETFs, commodities, and crypto.
Though not yet launched, HelloTrade expects to release its iOS and Android apps by early 2026. It also gained early community traction on Project Hunt, becoming the project with the most new Top followers in seven days.
HelloTrade, a Web3 trading platform built by former BlackRock digital asset leaders, has made significant strides in H1 2026. The most notable development was the official announcement on June 2, 2026, of its migration to the Monad ecosystem, leveraging high-performance blockchain infrastructure to accelerate global financial market adoption. The platform is currently in its Alpha testing phase, with the team sharing a common vision with Monad to make global capital markets more open and inclusive. Looking ahead, HelloTrade plans to unveil additional product updates and ecosystem partnership announcements in the coming months. The platform offers spot trading, perpetual futures with up to 50x leverage, and upcoming yield generation and spending features, targeting 100+ countries with institutional-grade infrastructure.
HelloTrade co-founders are Wyatt Raich and Kevin Tang.
Wyatt Raich previously served as Head of Engineering at BlackRock's Digital Assets Lab, with experience in AI autonomy for unmanned vehicles at Lockheed Martin and robotics research. He also founded Pitch Yellowstone.
Kevin Tang previously served as Director of Digital Assets at BlackRock, and held roles at State Street Global Advisors, BNP Paribas, and HKEX in corporate strategy and capital markets.
They co-founded HelloTrade in November 2025.
