About Helika
Helika started as a Web3 gaming and NFT analytics platform, helping studios track on-chain and off-chain data. Today, it also runs an AI character platform that lets IP owners (game studios, sports leagues, music artists, brands) deploy AI-driven characters on Discord, social media, and community channels. These characters are trained on approved content and follow strict rules set by the IP owner.
Their core value is brand safety and control. They offer curated mode (every response is human-reviewed before going live), autonomous mode (with full logs, real-time monitoring, topic/person blacklists, and a one-click kill switch), and full data ownership. This solves a real pain point: IP owners want to engage fans with AI but fear losing control over their brand voice or facing PR disasters.
In the past six months (March–September 2026), Helika expanded beyond gaming into sports, entertainment, and music. They also launched a 12-week game accelerator with Avalanche, selecting five studios from over 100 applicants, providing $25k upfront, mentorship, and up to $125k in follow-on funding. No major negative events were reported in the last two years, aside from a general slowdown in web3 gaming adoption.
In the past six months, Helika completed its strategic pivot from gaming analytics to AI character infrastructure. In March 2026, it announced the AI Publishing Engine, whose core module, the Content Creation Engine, generates AI characters from studio lore documents and brand guidelines across Discord, social, and in-game channels, driving user acquisition, retention, and monetization. On June 22, it officially launched Helika Evolve, a brand-safe AI character platform enabling IP owners to train interactive characters with memory and emotion on their own knowledge bases, featuring Curated Mode, blacklists, one-click kill switches, and 8-week deployment. It now serves 60+ studios including Nexon, Ubisoft, Yuga Labs, and Com2Us, with $15M total funding from Sagard, Pantera, Animoca, and others. Roadmap: build the full publishing stack layer by layer — user acquisition, market analysis, A/B testing, and economy optimization; expand Evolve to sports, entertainment, music, and brands; and support rapid multi-character deployment on the same infrastructure.
