About Glacis
Glacis is an aggregation layer for cross-chain messaging. It unifies multiple General Message Passing (GMP) protocols behind a single API, enabling developers to send messages across chains without being locked into any single provider.
Its core value lies in three technical capabilities. First, routing flexibility: developers can dynamically choose or switch between GMPs per transaction, avoiding dependence on one protocol. Second, redundant delivery: the same message can be sent through multiple GMPs simultaneously, with quorum-based execution ensuring delivery even if some paths fail. Third, access control: a built-in firewall allows developers to define which source chains, contracts, and GMPs are permitted to call their applications, reducing the attack surface.
Market pain points addressed include: fragmented GMP ecosystems with inconsistent security and reliability; the risk of a single GMP outage or exploit halting cross-chain operations; and the complexity of manually managing multiple messaging protocols. Glacis solves these by abstracting the transport layer, providing redundancy, and enforcing programmable security policies.
In the past six months (2026-02-28 to 2026-08-31), Glacis launched ZeroDelta, a clearing platform for stablecoin and RWA settlement. ZeroDelta matches institutional order flow, performs netting, and settles across chains. It has processed over $1 billion in transaction volume, with an annualized run rate of $1.5 billion, approximately 90% of which is in stablecoins (USDC, USDT, USDe). This indicates early traction in the institutional cross-chain settlement space.
