Details

Generic Protocol is an Ethereum-based stablecoin-as-a-service platform that manages collateral such as USDC and USDT through ERC7575 multi-asset vaults, automatically allocating to whitelisted strategies like Morpho and Aave to generate yield. Its core token, GenericUnit, is a 1:1 pegged share token that can be wrapped into branded stablecoins (e.g., GUSD). Users deposit stable assets to receive GenericUnit, or use mirrored balances on L2s via bridges. The protocol employs a modular controller, hard caps, circuit breakers, and ensures all minting and burning occurs only on the mainnet, maintaining full collateralization and redemption integrity.
