Galadriel, a Layer 1 blockchain for AI agents, has made significant progress in the past six months (2026-03-01 to 2026-09-01). Key developments include: reporting GPU power limits and utilization (v0.0.17), adding multi-backend support with auto-reconnect for optimal latency, LMDeploy support (about 15% faster inference), redesigned logging with timestamps and debug flags (v0.0.16), node health reporting (v0.0.15), and GPU count reporting (v0.0.14). The framework also introduced agent state management, streaming support, wallet airdrop commands, and TEE improvements, along with enhanced Web3 tools like Solana payment validation and Jupiter swap integration.

Looking ahead, Galadriel's official roadmap focuses on building a vertically integrated stack for autonomous, user-owned, and decentralized AI agents. The core layers include: an execution layer using a distributed TEE network for verifiable and unstoppable agent hosting, a data layer for encrypted storage, a networking layer for secure agent communication, and an economy layer enabling payments, agent-to-agent transactions, and L1 fee/incentive mechanisms. The project is currently in alpha, with plans to expand functionality across these layers to fully realize the vision of a decentralized agent network.
