About Freya
Freya is an AI agent character tied to Starfall Chronicles, an AI-driven roguelike RPG from Japanese studio Rosentica, and exists as the FREYA token on Base; it was first issued by the community on Virtuals before being adopted by the game's developers. The pain it targets is the fixed behavior of traditional game NPCs: Freya's personality, preferences and narrative position are AI-driven and evolve with player choices, so interaction directly shapes character development and the in-game economy. Mechanically, FREYA is spent on modifying and upgrading character traits and abilities, game consumption and governance votes, with a share of consumption burned and the remainder routed back to stakers through a dedicated staking system, tying AI content production to the token loop.
The game opened its closed beta in May 2025, with access keys priced in FREYA plus USDC. As of late October 2026, FREYA traded around $0.0057 with a circulating market cap near $2.89 million, down more than 87% from its January 2025 peak.
