About Finblox

Finblox is a crypto savings app that lets users earn high yields on their digital assets. It supports over 23 cryptocurrencies and offers daily interest payouts with no lock-up or staking periods, meaning users can withdraw funds anytime without penalties. The minimum deposit is as low as $1, making it accessible to beginners. Assets are secured through Fireblocks, a leading digital asset infrastructure provider.

The core problem Finblox solves is the lack of accessible wealth-building tools in regions like Southeast Asia and Latin America, where over 70% of the population is unbanked or underbanked. By providing a simple, transparent platform, Finblox gives these users a gateway to global crypto markets and competitive interest rates that traditional banks rarely offer.

In the past six months (February to August 2026), Finblox raised its daily withdrawal limit from $1,500 to $3,000, with plans to increase it to $50,000 for verified users the following week. The platform also resumed its referral rewards program and restarted yield generation after a period of suspension.

A notable negative event occurred in 2022 when Finblox was impacted by the collapse of Three Arrows Capital (3AC), forcing it to temporarily cap withdrawals at $1,500 and pause reward distributions. The company is still pursuing legal action to recover funds from 3AC.

Finblox was founded in 2021 by Peter Hoang, raising $4 million in seed funding from investors including Sequoia Capital India and Dragonfly. In June 2022, following the collapse of Three Arrows Capital (3AC), Finblox wrote down user deposits and limited withdrawals to $1,500 per month. In September of the same year, the platform forcibly converted user claims into its self-created FBX tokens, sparking user backlash. In February 2023, it launched an FBX buyback program. In May 2023, the FBX token sold out on launchpads including PoolZ, Decubate, and Trustpad, and FinGPT, an AI tool, was unveiled. On July 7, 2024, the platform officially shut down citing changing market dynamics, approximately three years after its launch.
