About Fileverse
Fileverse builds decentralised document collaboration, with docs, spreadsheets, whiteboards and forms positioned as an alternative to Google Docs. Files are encrypted in the browser and written to content-addressed storage such as IPFS, keys stay with the user's wallet or device, collaborators get access through a link or wallet address, and permissions and version records are managed by contracts; editing syncs end-to-end encrypted in real time, and the server relays only ciphertext.
Its users are teams that want internal material under keys they control, including DAOs, funds and open-source projects, sharing project material, meeting notes and public disclosures. Compared with Notion or Google Workspace it has no single account system or central search, and file ownership follows the wallet. Collaboration runs on browser-side encrypted sync over content-addressed storage, access is granted by link or address, and outside collaborators need no platform account.
January 14, 2026, Fileverse's dDocs (end-to-end encrypted collaborative documents) was named by Vitalik Buterin as a successful example of private collaborative docs. On June 18, 2026, Fileverse launched dSheets, offering decentralized spreadsheet collaboration.
Fileverse lets teams share and collaborate on documents without relying on centralized platforms, using encryption and decentralized storage.
Future strategy and roadmap: Fileverse plans to expand collaboration and permission features in dDocs and dSheets, deepen integrations with decentralized identity and storage networks, and refine products around privacy-first office scenarios.
