About Elfa AI
Elfa AI is a real-time intelligence layer for crypto markets. It filters crypto Twitter/X and Telegram down to vetted 'smart accounts' (founders, funds, analysts), then tracks 'smart mentions' and 'mindshare'—the share of credible attention a token gets over time—to surface trending narratives early. Core pain point: raw social volume is mostly bots and noise. Elfa solves this by weighting attention by account credibility rather than counting every mention. Its business is now pivoting from a dashboard to an API-first 'trigger infrastructure': it converts live social sentiment, news events, and market data into automated conditions that fire alerts or execute actions for traders and AI agents.
In the past six months (2026-03-12 to 2026-09-12): In July 2026, Elfa launched Iris, a real-time intelligence stack for AI agents, integrating market awareness, live signals, and automation. In August, it became CoinGecko's largest real-time insights provider, powering 30% of their news to 40 million monthly users, and set an all-time high of 3.83M API requests. Pear Protocol integrated Elfa's automation triggers into its AI assistant. In September, Elfa discontinued its Trade page to focus entirely on its API business.
Important limitations: No tool predicts price—attention often peaks near tops. Social metrics can be gamed by coordinated posting. The platform depends on X's API terms. Its curated account list may carry ecosystem bias. All signals should be paired with on-chain confirmation.
