Details

Ekiden is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange built on Canton Network, employing a hybrid architecture with an off-chain central limit order book (CLOB) and on-chain settlement. It anchors order book state on-chain via Merkle proofs, ensuring transparency and auditability while maintaining low-latency trading. Users manage assets through non-custodial wallets and can place, cancel orders, and manage accounts via REST or WebSocket APIs and the TypeScript SDK. Its mechanisms include off-chain matching, on-chain clearing, position registry, and vaults, designed to provide institutional-grade compliant and efficient derivatives trading.
