About Doma Protocol
Doma Protocol is a blockchain built specifically for domain assets, moving traditional domains onchain without breaking what they already do. It integrates with accredited registrars, and a tokenized domain remains a compliant DNS record that resolves and works as before, while gaining an onchain representation that can be traded, used as collateral or held in fractions. Unlike projects that start a competing root, it adds a compatibility layer inside the existing system.
The architecture has three layers: a registrar bridge and toolkit that synchronises domain events in both directions, so onchain actions write back to registrar systems and registrar actions update onchain state; Doma Chain as the authoritative ledger for all tokenised domains, broadcasting state to other networks over a cross-chain messaging standard; and contract-level capabilities for tokenisation, fractionalisation and derivative issuance. Domains can move between Ethereum, Base, Solana and Avalanche, and holders can review cross-chain positions from one management interface.
On April 29, 2026, D3 launched Domain Asset Vehicles (DAVs) and the Doma Agentic Engine at Dominion'26 in Las Vegas: DAVs bundle domain portfolios into a single token with sale proceeds shared with holders, while the Agentic Engine assesses how AI agents perceive a domain.
Doma's team reported over 11 million transactions, 115,000 tokenized assets, 46,000 unique wallets and $82 million in volume since mainnet, with 430-plus domains on its launchpad; Alert.ai was tokenized live, bonding from a $212,500 starting fully diluted valuation to $287,500; on April 30, Solana confirmed upcoming tokenized baskets of more than 100,000 premium domains, and Avalanche joined institutional discussions.
Doma Protocol's Future strategy and roadmap: deliver DAVs and the Agentic Engine in the second quarter of 2026, open portfolio applications to registrars and domain funds, and use the Solana and Avalanche partnerships to position domains as the identity and addressing layer for AI agents.
