About Diffuse Protocol
Diffuse is cross-chain infrastructure built around verifiability, and one of its core products is a lending protocol for structured leveraged trades. Depositors fund a pool that lends to professional trading teams running on-chain strategies; loans are overcollateralised and isolated inside separate markets so a failure in one strategy does not reach other positions, and the protocol assesses risk before and after lending with an automatic capital protection mechanism that steps in as collateral ratios deteriorate.
Several pieces of underlying technology support this: a trusted execution environment performs risk computation inside a protected space, a zero-knowledge transport layer oracle brings off-chain data on-chain with verifiable provenance, collateral abstraction lets assets on different chains be priced under one framework, and a cross-chain messaging layer keeps state and instructions in sync across networks. The protocol itself is deployed as a stateless service, with verification logic separated from execution.
Diffuse Protocol says the design supports 5x-10x leverage on the same collateral with automatic contract liquidations. In 2026 the product focus shifted to Diffuse Prime: non-custodial lending for hedge funds and trading firms, where borrowers lever Pendle PT strategies up to 3x, lifting roughly 12% PT yield to about 25%, while lender capital sits in curated vaults and liquidation runs through a verifiable off-chain engine.
The Diffuse Protocol site lists Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Mantle and Solana among supported networks; a token-sale page shows 3.33 million DIFF offered at $0.018.
Diffuse Protocol will keep extending collateral abstraction and zkMessaging on zkServerless, replicate Prime's institutional leverage product across more chains, and connect to restaking networks such as EigenLayer.
