About Decentralised.co

Decentralised.co is a media and holding company focused on the Web3 space. Its core business includes publishing in-depth industry research reports, operating communities (such as Telegram groups), and holding stakes in early-stage projects. It helps investors and practitioners understand the complex crypto market through high-quality analytical content.

Its core competitiveness lies in its keen insight into industry trends and deep research capabilities. For example, it has analyzed the application of stablecoins in cross-border remittances, pointing out that traditional remittance costs are high and processes are cumbersome, while stablecoins can simplify processes and reduce costs. It also focuses on emerging directions such as asset tokenization and AI agents.

The market pain point is the information overload in the crypto industry with uneven quality, making it difficult for decision-makers to obtain reliable analysis. Decentralised.co provides valuable references for readers through rigorous research and case interpretation.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), the company has continued to focus on themes such as stablecoins and asset tokenization, and has strengthened community building, organizing offline events to promote real communication. Its research points out that stablecoins have obvious efficiency advantages in cross-border payments, but there are still compliance and liquidity challenges. In addition, it also explores the combination of AI agents and the crypto ecosystem.

Decentralised.co began in January 2023 as a deep-research newsletter serving founders, investors, and operators, committed to long-form narratives to crystallize industry knowledge. That same year, the team started building a venture network, gathering nearly 80 active funds, and took minority stakes in exchange for research, advisory, and distribution capabilities—forming an early media-plus-capital model.

2024 marked a turning point: the team launched a podcast, expanding conversations, and acquired a newsletter with roughly 200,000 subscribers and nearly 20 million annual views, widening content reach. Meanwhile, the company formally evolved from media into a prop fund, deploying balance-sheet capital, building an advisory portfolio of around 20 companies, and providing research support to seed-stage funds and enterprises.

In 2025, Decentralised.co announced it would actively invest from an internal capital pool and disclose more about its partner companies. From content production to capital allocation and liquidity support, it gradually transformed into a research-driven Web3 holding company—its long-term significance lying in exploring a sustainable path where media and investment deeply reinforce each other.

In the past six months, Decentralised.co published the "Coming of Age" report series, revealing that DeFiLlama has tracked $74.8B in cumulative protocol fees since 2018, with $31.4B generated between Jan 2024 and Jun 2025; in Jan 2026, Tether and Circle accounted for 34.3% of industry fees. Its report showed 2025 global stablecoin on-chain volume reached $33T, with strong emerging-market demand for digital dollars. Another article argued stablecoins alone cannot solve remittance, requiring licenses, bank accounts, and payment networks.

The official "Game Plan for 2026" outlines future focus: 1) Stable-coinisation of everything—micro-incentives and cross-border payments; 2) Enterprises using blockchains, e.g., DTC tokenizing assets, Nasdaq joining Canton; 3) New market primitives—niche financialization (GPU loans, solar incentives) and geo-specific financialization (remittance, perps). Content shifts to briefer articles with dense insights; commercial investments disclosed more transparently; community strengthened via Telegram (~5,000 members) and offline events.
