About Deadstock
Deadstock is a physical collectibles market on Arbitrum, currently centred on graded trading cards rather than sneakers broadly. Items are authenticated and held in professional vaults, a one-to-one on-chain claim is issued, and users can open packs, list on the secondary market, accept platform buybacks or redeem the physical item. It addresses familiar collectibles problems: authentication depends on trust, cross-border custody is costly, and large holdings lack exit routes.
Unlike purely digital collectibles, value is anchored to a redeemable object, so prices track offline markets more closely, at the cost of custody and logistics. An exclusive supply agreement with Japanese card dealer JTCC underpins pack inventory. The platform entered public beta in September 2026 with pack opening, secondary trading and redemption working end to end, and its scale depends on vault throughput and card supply.
In September 2026, Deadstock closed a $2.5 million Seed round led by Bullish Capital, and secured an exclusive tokenization partnership with major Japanese card dealer JTCC, dealing exclusively in PSA 10 graded cards for a continuous Pokemon card supply. Each physical card entering a professional vault mints a 1:1 on-chain Digital Twin; users can custody it, list it on the P2P market, accept platform buyback or redeem the physical card.
Future strategy and roadmap: Future strategy: Leaning on its Japan-direct supply chain and the exclusive JTCC partnership, Deadstock will build premium physical-card-on-chain infrastructure centered on PSA 10. Beyond Gacha, P2P trading and physical redemption, it plans to expand Collectibles-Fi products - price indices, APIs and lending - turning maturely priced card assets into liquid, composable on-chain assets and capturing the TCG segment within the broader everything-on-chain trend.
