About Dabba Network
Dabba Network is a DePIN project on Solana that organises India's local cable operators into a last-mile wireless broadband network. An individual buys a Dabba Lite hotspot and pays an activation fee, but the device is installed by ground teams at locations with paying demand rather than shipped to the buyer, and returns settle against usage verified on-chain. Six roles are paid separately, hotspot owners, operators, location hosts, backhaul providers, hardware makers and data consumers, with backhaul mixing free-space optics and fibre.
Mainnet went live on 15 April 2026 together with DBT, which pays contributors and is burned when users buy data or activate a device, tying supply to measured demand. By April 2026 the network ran more than 130,000 active hotspots across four Indian states and 25 cities, served about 647,000 monthly active users, carried roughly 41,800 TB in March 2026, and worked with more than 75 cable operators. India's PM-WANI programme lists the project as a private partner.
Dabba launched its DBT token on Solana on 15 April 2026 with a 10 billion supply, 50.4% allocated to future emissions and community rewards; a mint-and-burn model ties supply to data consumption and device activation.
By April 2026 Dabba Network had 130,000 active hotspots across four Indian states and 25 cities, more than 647,000 daily active users, 41,800 TB consumed in March and about USD 458,000 in 30-day protocol revenue, with over 75 local cable operator partners.
Dabba Network's Future strategy and roadmap: The team plans to shift resources back to network expansion after the token launch, enter Southeast Asia, Africa and South America during 2026 and keep growing hotspot and operator coverage.
