About DX Research Group
Since March 2026, DX Research Group has published systematic results from the DX Terminal Pro real-capital agent trading experiment. An April paper reported that over 21 days, 3,505 user-funded agents traded on Base in a sealed market, generating 7.5M invocations, roughly 300K onchain actions, about $20M in real volume, 5,000+ ETH deployed, and ~70B inference tokens, with 99.9% settlement success for policy-valid submissions; the longest-running agents exceeded 6,000 prompt-state-action cycles. Pre-launch testing exposed failure modes including fabricated trading rules, fee paralysis, numeric anchoring, cadence trading, and misread tokenomics. Targeted harness changes reduced fabricated sell rules from 57% to 3%, fee-led observations from 32.5% to below 10%, and increased capital deployment from 42.9% to 78.0% in an affected test population. In July, DXRG released the v1.1 guardrail matrix, emphasizing a verifiable mandate-to-settlement trace. Future priorities include cross-asset and cross-venue transfer, longer-horizon memory and prompt compilation, trace-based evaluation/regression/reinforcement learning, and feeding event data back into training and reward signals.
