About CryptoStats
This refers to CryptoStats at cryptostats.community, a community-maintained crypto data infrastructure. Its positioning is a “neutral source of truth for crypto metrics”: it pulls raw data from public indexers such as The Graph, on-chain data, and trusted APIs; community members write and publish adapters, which are reviewed by delegates and added to a collection registry smart contract. External users can then access normalized metrics for free via a REST API or JS SDK. Its core narrative is an open, transparent, community-governed data pipeline that addresses problems of closed data providers, inconsistent metric definitions, opaque data sources, and concentration of control among a few institutions. Anyone can submit adapters, and data consumers do not have to rely on a single commercial API.
Regarding developments in the past six months (2026-03-05 to 2026-09-05), no specific version releases or new collection announcements were visible on the official website or documentation. Only the existing adapter editor, IPFS publishing, and collection registry mechanisms could be confirmed as still operating. No significant negative information during this period was found.
