About Crypto Raiders

Crypto Raiders is an NFT-based dungeon crawler RPG built on the Polygon blockchain. Players own NFT characters (Raiders) and send them into dungeons to fight enemies, earn gear and loot, and level up. The game features a permanent death mechanic: if a character dies in battle, it is permanently removed and replaced with a death NFT, making surviving characters more scarce and valuable. The core business is selling NFT characters (initially 10K, later expanded to 65K+ via an in-game recruiting system using $AURUM tokens) and in-game items, with $RAIDER as the governance token. Its main value proposition is true digital ownership of game assets, allowing players to trade characters and items freely on marketplaces like OpenSea. The game addresses the pain point of traditional games where players invest time and money but own nothing. However, the project has been discontinued: the studio abandoned the title and no longer shares updates. As of August 2026, the RAIDER token trades at approximately $0.0015, with a 24-hour trading volume of only $1,000–$1,700 and a market cap of around $45,000–$53,000. The token's all-time high was $13.54 in January 2022, and its all-time low was $0.001016 in June 2026. In March 2026, the team announced that an iOS app had been approved for community testing, and Paladin and Knight classes were planned, but no further development has materialized. The token market is nearly illiquid with minimal trading activity.
