About Coinhako
On July 16, 2026, Japan's SBI Holdings, after receiving approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Coinhako through its subsidiary SBI Ventures Asset, making it a consolidated subsidiary. Coinhako will leverage SBI's global network and resources to expand synergies with digital finance services such as the JPYSC yen-denominated stablecoin, building a digital asset corridor connecting Japan and Southeast Asia.
