Changer.ae is a crypto custodian incorporated in Abu Dhabi Global Market and regulated by its Financial Services Regulatory Authority under registration 13101, offering mobile custody accounts to individuals and businesses. Custody is billed as a subscription scaled to assets held, with keys managed through institutional multi-signature and split-authority procedures, and a separate licence allows the firm to deal in investments as agent, so it can execute orders alongside safekeeping.

In 2025 it worked with Al Maryah Community Bank on a dirham escrow account: the bank holds the fiat leg while Changer executes crypto-to-fiat conversion, an arrangement approved by the UAE central bank. Users can convert USDT or USDC into dirhams with real-time settlement, and businesses can handle crypto-related payments inside the existing banking system. The design separates regulated custody, the fiat rail and execution across different licensed entities, keeping each step inside a defined regulatory boundary.
