About Carbon
Over the past six months, Carbon DeFi has advanced its position as a leading DEX for asymmetric liquidity and automated trading strategies. Key milestones include the launch of the Carbon DeFi MCP server on Celo, providing AI agents with 25 tools for market data, strategy simulation, and position management. This integration supports the Celo ecosystem's stablecoin focus, enabling automated strategies for USDGLO/USDm pairs with rewards in $CELO.
Carbon also introduced a migration feature via EIP-7702, allowing users to move positions from major AMMs like Uniswap V2/V3 and SushiSwap in a single atomic transaction, with lower fees (0.2%) and customizable spreads. A partnership with Metrom now incentivizes real trading behavior rather than passive TVL, rewarding active market participation.
Looking ahead, Carbon Alpha represents the protocol's next evolution, introducing time-dependent liquidity curves and customizable strategy shapes. This new layer will enable more expressive market-making, with features rolling out in stages through the existing Carbon DeFi app. The roadmap emphasizes deeper automation, precision liquidity control, and expanded cross-chain capabilities.
