About CAI
CAI is the underlying architecture of CharacterX, providing inference and agent infrastructure for consumer AI applications. The platform handles model hosting, compute scheduling and request routing; developers call text generation, image generation and role-play workflows through APIs and pay by usage, with fees settled in a token on BNB Chain. Agents can read on-chain data and execute transactions, and several products across web, mobile and Telegram share one backend.
Products are the AI Lab, a character social app and developer interfaces, serving operators of character chat, interactive content and light games, with the token paying for compute and unlocking features. Compared with teams running a single chat app, it makes model orchestration and compliance filtering a reusable middle layer. On 9 October 2026 CAI was removed from Binance Alpha's display section in a batch affecting several tokens, and the narrower channel set directly affects its liquidity and visibility.
CharacterX reached key user milestones with over 5 million registered users and daily actives exceeding 200,000, later scaling to 7 million, underscoring sustained adoption of its Solana-based on-chain AI agents.
The project allocated 8% of tokens to airdrop season participants and integrated Binance Alpha for CAI listing with defined thresholds, marking structural progress in token distribution and exchange-level infrastructure.
Channel change: At 08:00 UTC on October 9, CAI was removed from Binance Alpha's display section as part of a batch adjustment affecting multiple tokens; users can still withdraw or sell, and other trading channels remain unaffected.
