Details

Brud is a media company founded in 2016 that focuses on building community-driven media ecosystems, primarily creating and managing virtual influencers (such as Lil Miquela). Brud proposes to hand over story writing, creative tools, and decision-making to fans, creators, and believers, using decentralized models (e.g., DAOs) to let the community participate in content direction and world-building. Its official website and Twitter showcase a shift from traditional virtual influencer operations toward community co-governance, emphasizing the idea that 'audience is invested.' The project is active and has received investment from Dapper Labs.
