About Bridge Network

Bridge Network is a cross-chain interoperability layer that provides both applications and infrastructure tools for moving assets and data across different blockchains. Its core product is a messaging protocol combined with SDKs and APIs, allowing developers to build cross-chain decentralized applications without managing underlying bridge infrastructure. The network uses an intent-based architecture where users specify desired outcomes, and a solver network handles the actual cross-chain execution.

Its main differentiator is the emphasis on developer experience and modular design. Unlike traditional bridges that lock tokens and mint wrapped assets, Bridge Network focuses on generalized message passing with an execution layer, enabling use cases like cross-chain lending, governance voting, and NFT transfers. The system aims to reduce liquidity fragmentation by allowing assets to remain on their native chains while being usable elsewhere.

The market pain point it addresses is the complexity and security risks of existing bridges. Many current solutions require users to manually switch networks, manage multiple wrapped token standards, and trust centralized intermediaries. Bridge Network attempts to solve this through a unified interface and a competitive solver market that optimizes for speed and cost. It also claims to minimize smart contract risk by keeping the core protocol minimal and audited.

In the past six months (2026-02-28 to 2026-08-29), Bridge Network has focused on expanding its supported chains, adding several EVM-compatible networks and at least one non-EVM chain. The team released a V2 upgrade that improved the solver auction mechanism, reducing cross-chain transaction finality times. Developer documentation was overhauled, and a testnet incentive program attracted over 50,000 unique addresses. However, in April 2026, a vulnerability in a third-party connector contract was exploited, resulting in approximately $2.8 million in user funds being drained. The issue was patched within 48 hours, and affected users were fully compensated from a security reserve. No ongoing legal disputes or major service outages have been reported since.
