About Bitbond
Bitbond is a tokenisation infrastructure company founded in Berlin in 2013. It began with bitcoin-collateralised cross-border lending and later moved to on-chain issuance of regulated securities. Its clients are banks, asset managers and firms issuing bonds or fund units. Traditional securities registers rely on paper certificates and layered custody, and cross-border distribution carries heavy compliance cost.
Products split between the self-service Token Tool and Offering Manager for full offerings: the first deploys ERC-20 or ERC-1400 security tokens with freeze, transfer restrictions and whitelist checks built in; the second covers investor onboarding, multi-rail collection, order tracking and the register's lifecycle. In June 2019 it issued BB1, a bond token with a 4 percent coupon and one-year term whose prospectus was approved by the German regulator; that bond has since matured. Structures can be built under the German electronic securities act and the EU distributed ledger pilot.
Bitbond Offering Manager is priced in three tiers: the Free plan at EUR 0 per month with one test offering and five test investors, the Professional plan at EUR 299 per month or EUR 3,588 billed annually, saving over 14% versus monthly billing, covering five live offerings and 1,000 investors per offering, and the Enterprise plan on a custom quote.
